it's been on our to-dos, to look at replacing our very
broken-into sofa which we scored at a warehouse sale
at marshall fields in chicago the spring of 2000.
i think it cost us $450.
it has served us well, and to some, may still look
completely fine and particularly comfortable to
kick up one's heels in.
right now, it's fun to look, which is about all that
we are doing, but being that our home is
"cozy", a multi-functional sofa would be
sensible (for the more than 1 visitor that
may come at any given time).
here's a few that catches our fancy...
Case Study Day Bed with Bentwood

Room & Board's Kinsey Sofa
(though it doesn't address versatility of a bed)

and Ligne Roset's Nomade Express (our friends have one of these and they are VERY well made not to mention stylin'!)

Of course, I couldn't help but page through the new Room & Board catalogue and see some other pieces that make me wish money were no object.
Wegner Sawbuck Chair

Wegner Shell Chair

Eames® Molded Plywood Lounge Chair

...and for the even higher ticketed items that leaves me
daydreaming in my pretend oasis of my dream home . . .
